“Gina was an incredible help with my upper body injuries. The team at Balance approach physiotherapy in a very special and effective manner and Gina is a particularly patient, supportive practitioner. My injury concerns are behind me and I am much more aware of my body and how it functions thanks to Gina. Highly recommend!”

Questions
I was a dancer when I was younger, as a consequence, I had a number of injuries and saw lots of physios, who I thought were just pretty cool humans and I wanted to be like them. Beyond that, I’ve just always been blown away by the body, how it works and what it can achieve! I love my work, because I constantly get to explore that and help people feel happy in their bodies and maximise their potentials.
Sitting outside having a little dabble on guitar. I don’t play well, but strumming helps chill me out
Other than a good dance at a party, I mainly cycle, and play tennis. I’m also working on my running in 2018 – we’ll see how we go.
I would love to share a drink with Nelson Mandela, Lauryn Hill and my Nonna. We’d be drinking pina coladas, because coconut is delicious.
My mum doesn’t experience pain in the same way that other people do, and that always blew my mind how a certain painful stimulus, wouldn’t be felt the same way by different people. Everyone’s history, context, and environment constantly influence our pain experience, and I just want to understand the mechanisms behind that.
